History
During the 80's, I started to be interested in dressmaking which incited me to follow a haute couture course. This led me to create item of clothing for many years. In 2002, after a 10 year hiatus, I delved back in textile creations, more specifically in modern quilting. Over a two year period, while working part-time, I started on the design, sewing and quilting of various pieces including wall hangings, placemats and others.
Returning to full-time work, I had to take a « production » leave from my pastime for about 6 years. In 2010, I retired from the computer system project management arena for good in order to dedicate myself to the creation of quilts and other fabric made objects.
While using a household sewing machine for quilting since 2002, I am also using a longarm quilting machine since 2015.
